Ingredients
1can chickpeas
1tbsptahini
1large clove garlic in pieces
½tspzaatar
1/4lemon
sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Instructions
Drain the chickpeas in a bowl, retaining their water.
In a blender or food processor, add the chickpeas, tahini, garlic and zaatar to a blender or food processor. Whizz for about a minute until you have a smooth and creamy texture.
If needed, add a tablespoon of the chickpea water to the mixture for more consistency. Transfer the hummus in a bowl. Add lemon juice and season to taste.
